It is known that a robed choir has existed at Holy Trinity from 1831, (possibly even earlier). Its purpose has remained unchanged, that of leading the service music and performing special pieces on various other occasions. We have one of the few surviving robed choirs in our Deanery (and beyond), leading the music on the second and fourth Sunday mornings each month. Some choir members also sing with the more informal Singing Group. Choir and Singing Group join  together for Family Communion whenever a fifth Sunday occurs.

Anyone who enjoys singing with others can come along and join us. Musical knowledge is not a requirement, simply the ability to hold onto ‘the tune’, when singing.

Why not come along for a few ‘taster sessions.’ You can be assured of a warm welcome.
